#003 Does wearing gold chains improve health?

I believe that people, basically wear gold chains on their necks, for ornamentation purposes. A materia medica published at Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh, India) in 1900 and reprinted many times, indicates that wearing gold chains improves health. Reduces vAta dOSha (problem of wind - intestinal gases and inflammations owing to accumulation of air in the system) and paitya dOSha (problem of bile, liver related ailments such as jaundice, gall bladder troubles, lack of hunger, skin rashes, excess talking etc.). It is not clear, how the writer came to such conclusion. He has included a similar notation in case of diamond jewels also. One problem with Indian AyurvEda is, it evolved through centuries old practices, procedures and processes of treating emperors, kings , landlords and rich merchants. #002 PSORIASIS MEDICINES - SOME OBSERVATIONS

This is not a medical advice. I am just writing from the information I collected from acquaintances, friends, and media. Readers must exercise caution.
